Lesson Rates

Private Lessons
Private lessons are $75 per hour, plus the ice use fee. Most private lessons are taught in 30-minute increments and cost $38.

Semi-Private Lessons
$25 per skater plus the ice use fee.
Note: If you are scheduled for a semi-private lesson and your partner(s) cancel, and you end up in a private lesson, you still only pay the price of a semi-private lesson.

COLDRUSH Group Programs/Classes
These sessions are pre-paid and vary in price depending on the program. Camps, Clinics, and Out of Town Team Training Rates are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Team Training


Washington Metropolitan Area:
Team training is $125 per hour. The rate for 45 minutes is $90, for 30 minutes is $60, for 90 minutes is $180, etc. The price does not change if more than one team shares the lesson.


Outside the Washington Metropolitan Area:
Rates vary, contact Wendy for more information


Ice Fees

Private and Semi-private Lessons on "Power Ice" Sessions

Ashburn charges $6 per half-hour of power ice (ice that is specifically designated for power skating instruction and practice). Power Ice passes must be purchased in advance at the front desk. Power Ice passes are good for 1 power ice session per week from the first lesson through June. The price is pro-rated throughout the season. If for any reason a skater stops taking lessons they will receive a refund for the amount that remains on their pass.

Private and Semi-private Lessons on Public Sessions

If you take your lesson on a public session please purchase the sticker for the general session at the front desk.

Group COLDRUSH Programs
The cost of the ice is included in the price of the program.

Team Training, Camps, and Clinics

Team training, camps, and clinics are taught on ice that has already been purchased by your team or organization. There is no additional charge for the use of the ice.
